Heart Craft for Children

Simple heart craft for a small group of children (girls): 

Materials: 

• Colored strings of paper (cut)
• A3 paper
• Glue
• Finger-paint (optional)
• Glitter (optional)

Procedure:

• Take a string of paper and fold it in the shape of a heart 
• Glue the middle and the bottom part together
• Then glue the heart on the paper
• Proceed with decorating the heart by:
• folding inwards or outwards individual strings of paper, 
• and gluing them both on the heart and on the paper
• Add the final decorations with finger-paint, and glitter

 

It can take from 10 minutes to 30, depending on the amount of decoration that will be added, and on the skills (age- based) of the children. 

In this case, the girls were 6 years old, and it took them about 10 to 15 minutes to finish.
